THE STORY OF
ANASTASIA

Anastasia, known to most as Sia, was born and raised in Patras. She formed a beautiful family and worked at the former Technological Educational Institute (TEI) of West Athens, in the Library Department, for almost three decades, the last few years as Head of the Department. She loved her books and her students.

Her identifying characteristics were her wide smile and the helping hand she offered without a second thought to anyone who asked for help. She was a very giving and supportive person, not just to her family and friends but to everyone, even if she barely knew them.

On the 1st of May 2020, although free of any health issues, she suffered a series of strokes and had to be hospitalised for over 6 months in the Intensive Care Unit of the Henry Dunant Hospital Centre.
On the 17th of November of the same year, despite her months-long efforts to hold on to life, she passed away at the age of 56, leaving behind a grand vision, "ANASTASIA".
